Timber Types:
Full height solid boarded
Farm type gates, either 5 bar or 6 bar deer gate.
Decorative designs
Or if you can draw them we will make them to your own design.
All gates are made from either Iroko or treated soft wood.
Iroko is a very durable tropical hard wood and is reasonably priced.
Soft wood is fine for a low cost gate but one has to realise that it will have a limited life span.
The 'Hartley'
Made from solid Iroko hardwood, or treated softwood, the gates have extra thick frames to ensure a long life when automated.
The 'Inkpen'
Similar construction to the 'Hartley' but with a different top rail design. The gates shown are in stained and treated softwood.
The 'Cardinal'
These can be supplied as singles or as matched pairs. The gates shown are made of Iroko and have thick bottom rails to take automation.
The 'Double County'
Normally supplied as single units, these gates can provide a very wide opening for farm machinery. Typically used on Estates.
The 'Watership'
An attractive design made specially for one of our customers. The wood is Iroko hardwood.
The 'Emsworth'
This is an Iroko sliding gate. The sliding mechanism can be useful as the gate does not intrude on the area inside it.
